Very late intro post :D
I don't think I ever properly introduced myself here on LJ. So I'm going to do that now.
In case you didn't know, my name is Kim. And this is what I look like when I try to be a model:

Took this for ONTD_AI's NOH8 project. Mom and I had lots of fun doing this :P
I work as a teacher with the most adorable kids ever. I've got 19 kids in my class right now, but I'll have 26 kids by the end of February. Our school is growing REALLY fast, mainly because we're having really good results with the kids and are well known in the area. Parents keep telling other parents how awesome and good our school is, lol. That's certainly something to be proud of.
The kids are really adorable! I've never had such a sweet bunch of kids!

I mean, look at them! You can see my assistant, Sehriban, in the back with the other half of the class.
And I know I'm not supposed to have any favorites, but just look at these two:

The boy just talks and talks and talks all day long and the girl on the right is always smiling and happy.
My parents are awesome. I'm 25, but still live at home with my parents in our small little house in a big city in The Netherlands. People keep asking when I'm finally going to find my own place, but uhm, I kinda don't want to. My parents are the most laid back folks (and the sweetest too) and they totally don't mind having me still at home. I can do whatever I want, my mom cooks for me when I get home from work, my clothes are being washed and ironed and I only have to pay a small amount of money each month, which is really awesome, cause that allows me to save money for my car and eventually my own place. I really have nothing to complain about when it comes to this, LOL.
Meet my silly dad:

I love the man; he's always there for me, never complains when I need to drive and loves his family unconditionally.
I have an older brother (30) and he's got the most adorable son, Daan. That little guy stole my heart the minute he was born. I remember I had to work that day (I worked at a toy's store, where my brother is the manager) and I was so frustrated that I couldn't see Daan right away. My mom called that she had seen him and that he was so, so cute and little and so lovely and I was like AAAH I WANT TO SEE HIM. Daan will turn 3 this November. He's growing so fast! I never expected to feel so much after he was born, but it feels like he's mine too. IDEK how to explain it, he's just really special to me. My brother and sis-in-law are expecting their second baby right now - she's due in April. So excited for them!
The coolest nephew ever (yes, I'm a very proud aunt):

Mom and dad holding Daan just after he was born:

I'm currently taking driving lessons (have been for the last year) and have failed my drivers exam 5 times already. I feel like I'm a hopeless case. :( It has made me realize I've had a lot of LUCK in my life. I passed every other exam I ever took in my life with ease - I never had to work really hard. And I love driving, but failing is making it not so fun anymore. I just wish I had that damn drivers license already. GAH.
I don't really watch TV much (Dutch TV is lame and boring D:) but I do watch some shows on my pc. I love Supernatural, American Idol and Glee. I accidentally stumbled upon a few pics of Jared and Jensen a couple of years ago and was like SIGHHGJNRIKSANJKGAIJ THESE GUYS ARE HOT! Well, I thought Jensen was hot, I thought Jared's nose was too big, lol(please Jared stans, don't kill me D:) But anyway, I was like hypnotized by Jensen's eyes and lips and I knew I had to watch that show. But since it's kind of horror-y I was very hesitant at first (yes, I'm a big pussy). Finally I just downloaded the first season and started watching. That's when I started to appreciate Jared's beauty too, haha, although it took a while to warm up to him.
I started watching American Idol during the second season (*waves to
cor77* - it's your fault that I'm here now!) and have watched every season since then, except season 3. Had a long, way too long, obsession with Clay Aiken.
I started this journal a few years ago, never really intending to use it other than commenting every now and then. I'm so happy I finally came out of my shell during AI season 8! I really love all the friends I made over the past few months. Claire claire-kay, thank you for your friendship. You are AWESOME and one of the first persons I really started talking to. I'm so excited for you almost being an aunt! But I miss talking to you D: We should catch up soon! Sandra (
shalowater), thank you for being a lovely friend and for your generosity - you're absolutely amazing! Alyssa (
neednotwant), you're one of the happiest and most enthusiastic friends I have on my flist. I always smile whenever I see you flailing. :D Gabby (
ohslowride), you're so SWEET. I think that's the perfect word to describe you. I love your enthusiasm and support. koyuki-san, I want to know your real name, so I can stop calling you bb! Haha. Unless you're keeping it a secret on purpose of course ;) Anyway, thank you for always commenting on my icons - it's very much appreciated! And I love that we both love SPN. Lola (
lolitaray), you're an amazing writer. But that's not even why I love you. I love you because you're just an awesome person and incredibly sweet and sometimes so fangirly. I love that about you! Sam (
egotists), I know we don't talk much (wish we were!), but I just want to say that I think you're an amazing person and I admire how strong you are. You're young, but very mature. <
lmichelle599, you're fun and cool. I always smile whenever I see your name here on LJ. :D Jess (
moonmelody), your generosity still amazes me! *clutches RS* You're also one of the loveliest person on my flists. I don't always have the time to comment on your Adam flailing, but you never fail to make me smile whenever I get the chance to read your entries. Pash, princess-narnia, when I first starting making icons, I admired YOURS so much. I was like shocked and honored when you commented on MY icons. I was flailing all over the place, haha. You really made me feel welcome. I also think you're one of the most honest and sweetest persons on my flist. You somehow make me feel like I matter or something, IDEK what I'm trying to say, just know that I think very highly of you. Sophia shazza-018, I remember being very impressed with your icons when I started making them. We don't talk nearly as much as I'd like to, but I do consider you a close friend. :D Michelle (
micheleeeex), we almost never really talk, but I do read your Cook entries sometimes and I love your devotion to him! Just wanted to say that ;)
LJ is being very weird right now; it won't let me post usernames with an _ underscore, so that's why some names are bolded :P
Ok, I don't know how this post turned into a LOVE-MY-FLIST post, it just happened. lol. Once I start rambling, I can't see to stop. Anyway, thank you flist, for your support and love! ♥
To everyone who joined
mellow_lights - thank you! I'm really excited about the community and hope to post lots of icons in the future.
If you want to know more about me, feel free to ask! ;) I won't answer until tomorrow morning though; it's bedtime for me! :P

Unfortunately, we don't really do anything with Halloween here. Since I didn't grow up with it, I'm not really into it, lol. Are you doing anything?
